Updated scenarios to be shared Feb. 28; community meetings set for March 4 and 19
A few thousand community members provided their thoughts on the first four proposed attendance boundary scenarios via community meetings, an online form and hotlines. This feedback is now being reviewed, and helping to narrow the number of scenarios and make tweaks to those that are moved forward. Updated scenarios are expected to be presented online at district279.org/boundaries on Friday, Feb. 28.
Community input once again welcomed: Community members are once again encouraged to share their thoughts on the updated scenarios. A new online form and RVSP for two community informational meetings will be available at district279.org/boundaries on Friday, Feb. 28. In the meantime, make sure to mark your calendars for these important dates:
- Friday, Feb. 28: Updated attendance boundary proposals shared at district279.org/boundaries, along with new online form and Community Informational Meeting RSVP form.
- Tuesday, March 4: Community Informational Meeting at 5:45 p.m. at North View Middle School.
- Wednesday, March 19: Community Informational Meeting at 5:45 p.m. at Osseo Middle School.
- Friday, March 21: Feedback form closes.
Timeline: March will likely wrap up districtwide feedback opportunities. The school board is expected to approve final attendance boundary changes in May. The new attendance boundaries will then go into effect fall 2026.
