Osseo Area Schools to host Spring Career Expo March 26
Osseo Area Schools will host a Spring Career Expo Tuesday, March 26, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Zanewood Community: A STEAM School.
The Career Expo will feature onsite interviews, presentation sessions about benefits, equity work, resources and information on why Osseo should be applicants’ employer of choice. There will also be meet-and-greets with hiring managers, application help stations and more.
“We have jobs for high school students and for individuals with a high school diploma/GED or higher,” said Laurel Anderson, executive director of human resources. “Most of our positions start at $17 per hour and up."
"Osseo Area Schools is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse and talented workforce to meet the needs of our students and communities,” Anderson continued. “We not only work to give our students the opportunity to shine and show their brilliance, but also to our staff and teams.”
The Career Expo will include hiring for licensed and non-licensed positions and for both school-year and summer work, including educational service professionals (ESPs), teachers, school nurses, food services, custodial, transportation and more.
“This event is crucial for those interested in joining our district family or exploring career growth opportunities,” said Michelle Dennard, the district’s ESP president for Education Minnesota Osseo. “Don’t miss this opportunity to explore a rewarding career path and become part of a community that cares.”
