Three district-level advisory committees are looking for parent/guardian volunteers who are interested in influencing the direction of the district’s enrollment/capacity, risk management/emergency preparedness, and financial matters.

Enrollment and Capacity Management Advisory Committee

Osseo Area Schools is seeking community members to serve on the Enrollment and Capacity Management Advisory Committee (ECMAC) this school year. The purpose of this advisory committee is to increase community trust in long-range planning for enrollment and building use. The advisory committee analyzes information affecting enrollment, capacity, and building use, and generates observations and recommendations to be communicated to district administration.

Risk and Emergency Management Advisory Committee

On the Risk and Emergency Management Advisory Committee (REMAC), committee members work with district and school staff and city emergency services personnel to improve and support the execution of the district’s risk and emergency management plan. 

REMAC will meet six times during the school year, beginning on Oct. 13. Apply online by Friday, Sept. 24

FISCAL Advisory Team

The FISCAL (Financial Involvement School-Community Accountability Liaisons) advisory team helps shape the future for students, families and community members in Osseo Area Schools by providing community-based input and feedback on district financial matters.

FISCAL meetings take place virtually on Thursday evenings once a month in December, February and April. Meetings in November and January focus on budgeting and will take place during the day, or will be conducted through a survey. Apply online by Friday, Sept. 24.
